Ajeet Drone: Chennai’s company Juppa Geo Navigation Technologies has assigned more than 500 cyber-secure "Ajit" series drones to the Army over the last three months to monitor the Indian Army and strengthen the operation capacity. This delivery is completed between January to April and these drones are designed specifically for frontline units.
What is Ajeet Drone Series
Ajit Series is a family of small and lightweight drones built for monitoring and information mobilization work. The army uses these to monitor the enemy’s activities, take pictures of the terrain and raise real-time information.
About Drone It is designed that soldiers can easily carry them together. Some models are so small that can also be taken by placing in a backpack.
Focus on Cyber Security
The biggest feature of these drones is being considered their cyber security. In today’s time, the drones have not been just flying machines, but have become part of the electronic system. The dangers such as hacking, jamming and spoofing have increased in such a way.
Ajit Drone is designed to take into account these threats. The electronic parts and software used in these are mostly designed in the country. This reduces dependence on the external system and improves safety.
These include the company’s own auto pilot system "Innovation", which can also work in areas where GPS signals are not available.
These drones are designed specifically for areas where the risk of electronic warfare is high. i.e. the enemy can try to jam the radio signal or confuse the system.
Ajit drones are also able to maintain their direction and work in these situations. Some large models can fly for about one hour and cover a distance of up to several kilometres.
These include Day and Night Camera, which can be monitored both day and night.
The company has also trained the military personnel using these drones. This training involves the technique of flying drones, caring for them and running multiple drones together. The aim is to use the units of the Army themselves in different operations.
Sword operation ability
A special capacity of these drones is that they can be blown together into the group. it Swarm called operation. Many drones in this technique work together, thereby increasing the scope of monitoring and more information can be found together.
Let's say that India has long been dependent on the system of foreign drones, especially Chinese companies. But now both the government and the army are working towards reducing this dependence. Ajit Series has been developed under the same target. Most things from hardware to software are created in the country.
This is not the first time the company has given the drone to the military. Earlier, the drones have been used during different operations. The company has already provided several drone systems and Swarm Technology Army.
