1971 War: The Start of War

Selina wrote in his social media post, "3 December 1971. This is the day when the war began between India and Pakistan. My 21-year-old father Lt. Vikram Kumar Jitley received his first deployment order. At that time, they and their 17 well regiments were not aware that they are going to enter their name in history. His battalion showed amazing courage in the battle of Bhaduria, but during this they suffered grueling losses. ""

21 Year Old Young and Battle Challenge

Selina recalled his father’s early struggles that they were only 21 years old when he stepped into the battlefield. "I often think about what my father’s mind is going on at that time. Did they know that they would have severe injuries and they would go with them for the wound life of pills and bombs? ""
