COAS Artillery Conference 2025: Indian Thalassena chief General Dyendra Dwivedi chaired the Daniel Artillery Conference 2025 held at Devalali-based School of Artillery. The conference went to the hybrid mode by December 11-12, where many senior military officers from across the country also connected. A comprehensive review of the operational preparations, modernization and transformation plans of Artillery regiment lasted for two days.
The conference was discussed in detail on the strategic role of the lesson and artillery met by Operation Sindoor. Also special attention was given on the restructuring and formation of Shaktiban regiments and Diwastra Batteries, which is being considered to be a key step towards strengthening future artillery potential.
Director General of Artillery Lt. General Model Kumar and other senior officers presented detailed information about the Modernization Roadmap, Training Improvement and Human Resource Development programs of the regiment. Linked through officials and JCO video conferencing from 25 different military bases at the conference.

During the tour, Army Chief also inspected the Drone Experience Centre of School of Artillery. He was told about the methods of Mission Planning, Surveillance and Targeting Training in Simulator Lab, Incubation Center and Drone Manuver Arena. The Army Chief also saw the demostation of the drone operation, the loteringmission and the mini-RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) module and also compliment the trainers.
Subsequently, General Dwivedi inspected the Nasik-based Combat Army Aviation Training School (CAATS) and reviewed his operational radiance. At the end of his visit, he met Vetns of the Military Stations of Devalali and Nasik and awarded Vetran Achievers Award for his outstanding contribution to five former soldiers.
