The Joint Statement issued after this meeting stated that an Expert Group for Limitation and a Working Group for Border Management will work.
The term "Arly and Substantial Harvest" is used here. In easy-to-use language, it means that the entire limit should be tried to make the first consensus in those areas without waiting for the final resolution of the dispute where progress is possible.
For this, both new groups will first decide their own terms of reference i.e. workspace and responsibilities.

2005 Agreement Rebuilt Base
India and China reiterated that the resolution of the border dispute will be further extended based on the "Polytical Parameters and Guiding Practices" agreement signed in the year 2005.
The agreement provides political and diplomatic framework for border solutions between the two countries. The two sides said that the solution should be that fair, practical and both countries are acceptable.
Why is the arrangement of the conversation being extended on the LAC?
3,488 km long between India and China LAC is. The understanding of the LAC of both countries in many places is different. That’s why periodic stress is causing.

Why are two new hotline channels important?
(India-China Border Talks Explained)
(India-China Border Talks Explained)
(India-China Border Talks Explained)
(India-China Border Talks Explained)
(India-China Border Talks Explained)
