India Germany Defence Cooperation: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said in the Defence Investor Summit held in Munich on the last day of Germany visit that the industry of Germany works closely with India. He also invited the German Defence Industry to come to India and spoke about developing and producing together in the areas of Advance Technology. He said that India’s self-reliance direction is to be different from the world, but to design, develop and produce together with trusted partners.
In the Defence Investor Summit held in Munich Defence Minister In his address, he said that not only a strong country in today’s period, but a trustworthy partnership has also become necessary. The countries and companies have been thinking about selecting their partners between the rapid changing geopolitical conditions in the world, the issues coming into the supply chain and a sharp change in technology.
India Germany Defence Cooperation: emphasis on partnerships based on trust
Rajnath Singh Cleanly said that the same partners will be ticked in the coming times between which trust and shared interests will be. He told German companies that India is not just a market for them, but can become a long-term Strategic Partner.
He also put the specialities of India. India told a fast growing economy, a country with young and skillful workforce. Also said the Industrial Ecosystem is developing rapidly and has a stable environment for investment. Government policies are transparent and law arrangement is strong, which is required for any large investment.
New means of self-sufficient India
In his speech, the Minister of Defence gave a clear message about "Sustained India". He said that self-sufficiency does not mean that India will work differently from the world. Rather, it means that India will design, develop and produce together with its trusted partners.
He also told that India doesn’t want to be a country to buy only defence equipment. The goal is that India itself became a partner in design and construction. This will also enhance the technical capacity of the country and strengthen the industry.
What areas of cooperation?
During the Munich Summit, he spoke of initiatives like ‘ri-arm Europe’ and ‘self-sufficient India’ that there are quite likely to work together between India and Germany. Rajnath Singh referring to certain areas where India wants to work together with Germany. These include advanced radar and sensor technology, multi-sensor system, artificial intelligence i.e. AI based drone system, goldboy and underwater communication system.
These areas are called "Nish Technology", i.e. such advanced technology, which is considered extremely important for future wars and security needs.
Developed by 2047 India
रक्षा मंत्री ने भारत के विकास के लक्ष्य का भी जिक्र किया। उन्होंने बताया कि देश 2047 तक एक विकसित राष्ट्र बनने की दिशा में काम कर रहा है। इस लक्ष्य को हासिल करने में डिफेंस सेक्टर को अहम भूमिका दी गई है।
उन्होंने कहा कि भारत ने पिछले कुछ वर्षों में इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर, स्टार्टअप और डिजिटल टेक्नोलॉजी के क्षेत्र में तेजी से बढ़े हैं। बेंगलुरु, हैदराबाद और पुणे जैसे शहरों को उन्होंने इनोवेशन के बड़े केंद्र बताया, जहां नई तकनीकों पर काम हो रहा है।
सरकार ने ईज ऑफ डूइंग बिजनेस को बेहतर बनाने के लिए कई सुधार किए हैं, जिससे विदेशी कंपनियों के लिए भारत में निवेश करना आसान हुआ है।
सप्लाई चेन और इंडस्ट्री सहयोग पर फोकस
रक्षा मंत्री ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि भारत ने डिफेंस सेक्टर को अपनी इंडस्ट्रियल और टेक्नोलॉजिकल रणनीति के केंद्र में रखा है। उनका कहना था कि मजबूत डिफेंस इंडस्ट्री न केवल राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा को मजबूत करती है, बल्कि आर्थिक विकास में भी योगदान देती है।
रक्षा मंत्री ने यह भी कहा कि दुनिया भर की कंपनियां अब अपनी सप्लाई चेन को विविध बनाने पर ध्यान दे रही हैं। ऐसे में भारत एक भरोसेमंद विकल्प बनकर उभर रहा है।
उन्होंने बताया कि भारत में निर्माण लागत कम है, स्किल्ड मैनपावर उपलब्ध है और सप्लायर का बड़ा नेटवर्क मौजूद है। इससे कंपनियों को उत्पादन और सप्लाई दोनों में फायदा मिल सकता है।
भारत का स्टार्टअप इकोसिस्टम भी तेजी से बढ़ रहा है, जिससे नई तकनीकों के विकास के लिए अच्छा माहौल तैयार हो रहा है।
म्यूनिख समिट से पहले रक्षा मंत्री ने बर्लिन में जर्मनी के रक्षा मंत्री बोरिस पिस्टोरियस के साथ द्विपक्षीय बैठक भी की। इस बैठक में दोनों देशों ने डिफेंस इंडस्ट्रियल कोऑपरेशन रोडमैप पर सहमति जताई। इसके अलावा संयुक्त राष्ट्र पीसकीपिंग ट्रेनिंग में सहयोग के लिए एक इम्प्लीमेंटिंग अरेंजमेंट भी साइन किया गया।
इस दौरान दोनों देशों ने मिलिट्री-टू-मिलिट्री कोऑपरेशन को बढ़ाने पर भी चर्चा की, जिसमें संयुक्त अभ्यास और ट्रेनिंग शामिल हैं।
कील में सबमरीन फैसिलिटी का दौरा
जर्मनी यात्रा के दौरान राजनाथ सिंह ने कील शहर में स्थित TKMS सबमरीन बिल्डिंग फैसिलिटी का भी दौरा किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने समुद्री रक्षा क्षमताओं और नौसेना से जुड़ी एडवांस तकनीकों को करीब से देखा।
इस दौरे को भारत की नौसेना के आधुनिकीकरण और सबमरीन प्रोजेक्ट्स के संदर्भ में महत्वपूर्ण माना जा रहा है। यहां दोनों पक्षों के बीच तकनीकी सहयोग की संभावनाओं पर चर्चा हुई।
