CGHS New Empanelled Healthvings 2026: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has freshly included 51 new multispeciality hospitals in Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR) for beneficiaries of the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS). A recent official Office Memorandum (Office Memorandum) was released on behalf of CGHS headquarters, located RK Puram in this regard.

After this decision, the Central Government employees, pensioners and other eligible CGHS beneficiaries will get the option of more hospitals than before for treatment. New hospitals are located in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat and surrounding areas.

CGHS New Empanelled Healthvings 2026: Three-year stay panel status

As per CGHS Headquarters, all these hospitals will remain in the panel from 15th July 2026 to the next three years. All hospitals have to fully comply with the new hospital list and regulations of CGHS released on 22nd December 2025.

The Ministry has clarified that the examinations or procedures for which the Hospital NABH or NABL are accredited will only apply the respective rates on the same services. The rate of the recognized institute will not be claimed if there is no recognition for any investigation. (CGHS New Empanelled Healthvings 2026)

What is CGHS and Who Get Benefits

Central Government Health Scheme i.e. CGHS Provides health facilities to the Central Government employees, retired employees, MPs, employees of certain autonomous institutions and other eligible categories. Under this scheme, beneficiaries are treated in Government Dispensary, Wellness Centre and listed private hospitals.

CGHS keeps them involved or excluded from time to time by evaluating hospitals. This process aims to provide better medical facilities to beneficiaries and ensure quality of hospitals.

Delhi and NCR attended several large hospitals

The new list covers several well-known multispeciality hospitals. These include Narayana Super Speciality Hospital, Gurugram, Apollo Hospital, Noida, Sharada Hospital, Greater Noida, Real Wellness Super Speciality Hospital, RG Stone Urology and Laparoscopy Hospital, Paras Hospital, La Paz Gopal Hospital, Felix Hospital, Light Hospital, Floralanjali Hospital, Thiruth Ram Shah Charitable Hospital, SGT Medical College Hospital, Rest Hospital, Apex City Hospital, Gupta Multispeciality Hospital and many other hospitals.

Benefits of different cities

The new list also covers hospitals of Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad and Sonipat, besides Delhi. Millions of living in NCR CGHS The beneficiaries will get the option to treat without having to go long.

CGHS has only included the same hospitals in the list which have met the fixed quality standards. Most hospitals in the list are accredited NABH, NABL, QCI or Entry Level NABH.

NABH evaluates the medical services of hospitals, safety of patients, qualifications of doctors, emergency arrangements, infection control and quality of treatment. While NABL ensures the quality and reliability of laboratories. (CGHS New Empanelled Healthvings 2026)

Hospitals must follow the rules

The Office Memorandum states that all listed hospitals have to follow the guidelines issued by CGHS. The treatment, billing, records of patients, cashless facility and other administrative procedures will be operated as per the prescribed rules.

If a hospital does not comply with the fixed standards, then action can be carried out under the rules of CGHS against it.

Billing through digital platform

Ministry of Health The hospitals have directed that all credit bills linked to the treatment of CGHS beneficiaries will be credited through the HEM 2.0 portal of National Health Authority.

Login ID and password will be provided to hospitals for this. This will be more transparent and digital than the first process of checking, placing payments and records of bills. (CGHS New Empanelled Healthvings 2026)

Multiple levels occur before the employee’s examination

Its facilities, expert doctors, medical devices, emergency services, operation theatre, intensive medical unit, lab and other arrangements are evaluated before any hospital is included in the CGHS panel.

Also review of the hospital’s recognition, administrative capacity and compliance of the prescribed rules are also reviewed. The hospital is included in the panel only after all the necessary conditions are met.

More options for treating patients

The beneficiaries will have more options available for treatment after the new list is released. Several areas have also been included in the hospital list where there were previously limited options.
