TROPEX 2025: The Indian Navy is going to organize TROPEX 2025 (Theater level operational radiance exercise) in February 2025 to further strengthen its maritime strength. TROPEX 2025: Net Security Provider is India
The Indian Navy has been considered a "Net Security Provider" for a long time, which has been instrumental in ensuring stability and safety in the region. TROPEX 2025 is another strong sign of India’s marine strategy, which suggests that India is continuously strengthening its presence in the Indian Ocean. TROPEX 2025 will include Advance Warship, Submarines, Combat Aircraft and Cyber Warfare Systems.
This exercise is being carried out under the SAGAR (Security and Growth for All in the Sector) policy in which India is not only enhancing its maritime security, but also prioritizing regional cooperation and sustainability. TROPEX will further strengthen the monitoring of important maritime routes such as Indian Naval Malakka Jaldambadmi (Malacca Strait), Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea.

Self-sufficient India’s strength
There is a good news for Indian Navy that India is also getting stronger from the domestic indigenous shipbuilding industry. India is now self-sufficient while our neighboring countries are still dependent on other countries for military hardware and strategic direction.

On the other hand, Pakistan is organizing AMAN-25 naval exercises to enhance its maritime strength, which will be in Karachi between 7 to 11 February 2025. But the real purpose of this practice is to promote the interests of China.
Pakistan is struggling with a deep economic crisis and its navy has been fully dependent on China. The navy of Pakistan is still dependent on old and limited capacity submarines and warships and does not have a budget required for modernization. Even the US and the European countries are no longer interested in the Navy of Pakistan. China’s help is getting some new warships and submarines to Pakistan, but it’s not fully capable of making Pakistan a novice Mahashakti. Pakistan has named the Multilateral Cooperation on AMAN-25, which will lead to the participation of the Chinese Navy (People’s Liberation Army Navy – PLAN), making it an effort to show the maritime strength of Beijing instead of Pakistan.

वहीं, बांग्लादेश भी हिंद महासागर में अपनी नौसेना की ताकत बढ़ाने की कोशिश कर रहा है, लेकिन राजनीतिक अस्थिरता और संसाधनों की कमी के चलते उसकी नौसेना अभी भी काफी पीछे हैं। हाल ही में, बांग्लादेश ने हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र में अपनी मौजूदगी बनाए रखने के लिए पाकिस्तान के साथ एक नौसैनिक अभ्यास में हिस्सा लिया था। लेकिन यह अभ्यास असफल ही रहा। इसकी वजह है कि बांग्लादेश की नौसेना की क्षमताएं अभी भी सीमित हैं। बांग्लादेश की नौसेना ने भी हाल के वर्षों में कुछ पनडुब्बियों और पेट्रोलिंग शिपों का अधिग्रहण किया है, लेकिन यह अब भी चीन पर अत्यधिक निर्भर है।
