According to the information on X on behalf of the Indian Army, the Indian Army has launched the new application named ‘Kautilya’, aimed at strengthening the structured data generation and creating an AI-ready digital ecosystem.
This application supports tablet based data entry on source level and works with other data platforms of the Indian Army.
Equipped with AI enabled dashboards and NLP based interfaces, ‘Cautile’ will help in enhancing better analytics, real-time deciss making and administrative efficiency in Indian Army. ""
Indian Army Kautilya App: ‘Kautilya’ named as ‘Kautilya’
Name of this app Ancient Indian Strategist and Economist Home i. It is named after Kautilya. Chanakya is considered a great expert of strategy, administration and intelligence. The Indian Army has tried to add traditional strategic thinking and modern technology through this name.
The platform "Data to Decision" is designed to increase the ability to take decisions immediately from the data, according to the Army authorities. It will be used from operational planning to administrative work.
How to Work
The "Competitive" app can collect information from many different sources. It includes tablet inputs, field reports, scanned documents, handwriting reports and digital files.
The young and officials in the field will be able to enter the data directly through the tablet. This will reduce the paperwork and the information will immediately reach the system. The Army believes that it will reduce the delay in reporting and make better chordination between the units.
The app can also connect with several digital platforms already present in the Indian Army. It will include information of troops, records of weapons, training status, ration supplies, equipment status and data associated with operational radiins. Indian Army Kautilya App
Real time information from AI dashboard
The biggest feature of the "Cautile" is its ai Being an enabled dashboard. The commander through this dashboard will be able to view a variety of information in one place.
As an example, training status of a unit, availability of weapons, logistics arrangements, ammunition status and operational preparation information will be found immediately.
According to the army, it will improve the "Selectoral Awareness". i.e. ease of understanding the status of a terrain or unit and decisions will be able to go fast.
(Indian Army Kautilya App)
(Indian Army Kautilya App)
Focus on Data Security also
(Indian Army Kautilya App)
(Indian Army Kautilya App)
