Young Leaders Forum 2025: The Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi said that India’s 65 percent population is under 35 years of age, and that is the true strength of the future of young India. He said that putting the energy of these young people, courage and spirit of innovation in the right direction with discipline and responsibility is the biggest need in the country.
He said in the Young Leaders Forum on behalf of the Indian Army and Centre for Land Warfare Studies (Close) at the Maneksho Center of Friday New Delhi. The event was held before the Indian Army’s annual Chanakya Defence Dialogue 2025, which will be on November 27–28.
The Army chief said that the youth should share self-reliance, national responsibility and patriotic life. "India’s progress will not only be from governments or institutions, but also by the thinking, dedication and deeds of youth. ""
Young Leaders Forum 2025: Army Chief Given Operation Shift Example
In his address, General Dwivedi said that the Indian Army has declared the coming decade as the ‘Dicked of Transformation’, with special attention to the participation of restructuring, technological innovation and youth. He pointed out that the Army has launched as Army Sales, Technology Clusters, and Indian Army Internship Program 2025 in IIT to connect youth with Defence Innovation.
He said that the youth’s contribution in this campaign is an example of India’s perseverance and abstinence. "Operation Sindoor showed that India’s army is at the forefront not only in strength but also in moral force. ""
The Army chief said to the youth that they play an active role in maintaining the sovereignty and security of the country, because in the coming years the same will be at the center of the creation of "developed India 2047".
Rishiju Bole- Make fitness, discipline and patriotic part of life young
In the forum, Union Minister Kiren Rishiju also addressed the youth that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s evolving India 2047 will be completed only when the youth and armed forces of the country will work together.
He recalled the contribution of Sardar Patel and Major Bob Khathing that these great personalities strengthened India’s unity and security. The Minister said that today India is moving rapidly with an economic growth rate of more than 7 per cent, reflecting the confidence and potential of the country.
Rishiju told young people that they make fitness, discipline and patriotic part of life and make active contributions to the country’s progress. He said that "Sena and Youth’s solidarity will join the world’s leading nations in the coming years to India. ""
"You are at the center of national security"
At the beginning of the programme, the Director General of the Centre for Land Warfare Studies (Close). General (Retd.) Dushyant Singh said that the event is dedicated to the participation of youth and their role in protecting the country. He acknowledges the spirit of the Young Leaders Forum "One India, Best India" and shows that the real strength of India’s unity and security are his young.
He said that this program decides the direction of the uncomfortable defense dialog 2025. "The month of November is completely special for the Army and Clause, as this month will be devoted to deep discussions on young leadership and national security. ""
He said there are three main themes of this year’s dialogue. First, the future of young and national security, in which it will discuss what the definition of safety should be in changing situations. Second, youth leadership and defense services, in which the role of youth is placed in the center of security strategy. Third, the role of youth in new war zones, such as Cyber, Space and Information Warfare.
"India’s young class is emerging not only in the military but in every sector of society, science, industry, and technology, by becoming new strengths of the country’s security and development. "In the words of Swami Vivekananda, he said, "Don’t wait until you go, and target realization, this should be the mantra of today’s youth. ""
“सुरक्षा केवल सीमाओं की नहीं, समाज की भी जिम्मेदारी है”

मेजर राधिका सेन ने फोरम में युवाओं को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि “राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा” की परिभाषा अब केवल सीमाओं की रक्षा तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि यह हर नागरिक की जिम्मेदारी बन चुकी है।
उन्होंने कहा कि “आज सुरक्षा केवल बंदूक से नहीं, बल्कि कीबोर्ड, लैब, अस्पताल और खेतों से भी तय होती है। जो युवा साइबर सुरक्षा में काम कर रहा है, जो किसान जलवायु के बदलाव के लिए नई तकनीक अपना रहा है, या जो छात्र झूठी खबरें रोक रहा है, वह भी देश की सुरक्षा में योगदान दे रहा है।”
मेजर राधिका सेन ने युवाओं से कहा कि आज सुरक्षा की कई नई परतें हैं, डिजिटल सुरक्षा, स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा, पर्यावरणीय सुरक्षा और सामाजिक एकता। उन्होंने कहा कि “जब कोई नागरिक फेक न्यूज रोकता है, जब कोई छात्र साइबर ठगी की रिपोर्ट करता है, या जब कोई युवा बाढ़ राहत में मदद करता है, वह भी एक सच्चा रक्षक होता है।”
उन्होंने कहा कि “21वीं सदी में सुरक्षा की पहली लाइन सीमा पर नहीं, बल्कि हर नागरिक के दिल और दिमाग में है।”
अपने भाषण में उन्होंने कौटिल्य के अर्थशास्त्र, स्वतंत्रता संग्राम, हरित क्रांति, पोखरण परमाणु परीक्षण, और कोविड-19 महामारी के उदाहरण देकर बताया कि राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा का अर्थ समय के साथ कैसे बदला है।
मेजर सेन ने कहा कि “आज जब दुनिया डिजिटल, तकनीकी और पर्यावरणीय चुनौतियों से घिरी है, तो भारत के युवाओं को न केवल बहादुर बल्कि जागरूक और संवेदनशील नागरिक बनना होगा।”
राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस पर हुआ आयोजन
यह कार्यक्रम राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस पर आयोजित किया गया, जो सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल की जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में मनाया जाता है। फोरम का उद्देश्य था युवाओं में ‘एक भारत, श्रेष्ठ भारत’ की भावना को मजबूत करना और उन्हें राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा, एकता और विकास की दिशा में प्रेरित करना। इस आयोजन में देशभर से युवा नेता, शोधकर्ता, विद्यार्थी, उद्यमी, एनसीसी कैडेट्स, उद्योग जगत के प्रतिनिधि और सशस्त्र बलों के सदस्य शामिल हुए। कार्यक्रम को हाइब्रिड मोड में आयोजित किया गया और इसे देशभर के सेना प्रशिक्षण संस्थानों, आईआईटी, विश्वविद्यालयों और अन्य पेशेवर केंद्रों में लाइव प्रसारित किया गया।
