SAKSHAM CUAS System: The Indian Army has taken a big step towards further strengthening the country’s air security capacity. The Army has released the RFP i.e. RFP for the Indigenously Developed Competent Counter UAS System.
This state-of-the-art system will track the enemy drones and unmanaged aerial systems not only by identifying the drones in real time, as well as killing them. This system is designed to protect the air area of up to 3,000 m i.e. 10,000 ft above the ground battlefield, now called Tactical Battlefield Space (TBS).
SAKSHAM CUAS System: Operation learnt from the computer
The system needed to be realized during operation shifter, when Pakistan’s drone and unmanaged aerial systems arrived for surveillance and attack in the Indian border. In this operation it came to the fore that the modern war is not only on the ground, but also being fought in the airspace above it. After which the Indian Army focused on the Tactical Battlefield space instead of the traditional Tactical Battle Field (TBA).
The Tactical Battlefield Space includes the aerial area of up to 3,000 meters above the ground, which is called air littoral. Maintaining control over this terrain is being considered necessary for future wars. This allows friends countries and their Ayer Assets to fly safely, as well as to track the enemy drones or plane and kill.
SAKSHAM CUAS System: How to work ‘Enable’?
The full name of the competent (SAKSHAM CUAS System) is the Sichuan Awareness Four Kinetic Soft and Hard Kill Assets Management. This is a software that has been developed as a high level modular command and control system. It is designed and designed in collaboration with India Electronics Limited, Ghaziabad.
This system works on Safe Army Data Network (ADN) and provides accurate information of the ground and airfield in the entire Tactical Battlefield space in Real Time. The aim of the competent system is to integrate the enemy and all its unmanaged aerial system data to a GIS based common platform, add soft and hard kill systems, and facilitate the field commanders to automised decizen support and visualization.
The military sources pointed out that the system (SAKSHAM CUAS System) will also take inputs from the air system of the Indian Army, to create a clear picture of all objects in the airspace whether they are franchises, neutrals or enemies. which will look large on the monitor.
SAKSHAM CUAS System
