TAIWS: The Indian Army plans to deploy the Artificial Intelligence (AI) based ‘track and shoot’ waiver system on the control line soon. The decision has been taken in such a time when the infiltration of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir on behalf of Pakistan is continued continually. The objective of this new technology is to equip the army with modern tools and make safety more effective. The system has been named Track and Intelligent Weapon System (TAIWS), which has been developed specifically for identifying and eliminating hidden panic in dense bushes and hilly areas.
What is AI Based ‘Track & Shoot’ Weapon System?
The TAIWS system is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Prayamri and secondary cameras. This camera will constantly monitor the terrain and track it by detecting any suspected activity. A medium machine gun is installed under this system, the effective range of which will be about 1.8 kilometres. i. Any intruder who came this range will be in the ring of this machinegon. This system will be equipped with AI enabled primary sightseeing system, with 40 times optical zoom, thermal imaging camera and a secondary camera sensor, which will clearly identify the target even in low light.
How will it work?
The TAIWS system will be able to shoot them within 10 milliseconds by tracking suspicious activities. However, the final decision will be to its operator i.e. the army personnel, which will control it from a bunker or operation post. This will ensure that any type of accident can be avoided and accurately deactivated the target.
Why is Israel better than the rest of the countries?
The TAIWS system is being considered to be more advanced than similar systems of other countries. This system of the Indian Army is considered much more effective than such weapons developed by many countries, including Israel as it covers secondary camera systems. This system will also maintain its effectiveness in low light and dense forests, helping the army to catch panic.
The first such system on LoC
Defence experts believe that this new system can prove a game changer for the Indian Army. Dr. Ashish Dogra, a developing defence research expert, says that this vanity system is an important step for future wars. He pointed out that such automated surveillance and attack systems are being implemented for the first time on LoC, making the Indian Army’s functionality more effective. He also reported that the first tablet hit percentage of this system was 100% during the test, which proves its accuracy and reliability.
USP of AI System

- It has the ability to make decisions immediately. This system will lock the target rapidly, as soon as possible intruder is identified.

TAIWS की तैनाती भारतीय सेना के लिए एक ऐतिहासिक कदम मानी जा रही है। इसके जरिए सेना को LoC पर गश्त के दौरान होने वाले खतरों से बचाने में मदद मिलेगी और घुसपैठियों को तेजी से पहचान कर खत्म किया जा सकेगा। अब तक भारतीय सेना को सीमाओं पर लगातार चौकसी करनी पड़ती थी, जिसमें सैनिकों को कई जोखिम उठाने पड़ते थे। लेकिन इस नई प्रणाली से निगरानी और हमले की प्रक्रिया ऑटोमैटिक हो जाएगी, जिससे न केवल सैनिकों की सुरक्षा बढ़ेगी बल्कि दुश्मन के खिलाफ प्रतिक्रिया भी तेज और प्रभावी होगी।
घुसपैठ रोकने में मिलेगी कामयाबी
रक्षा मंत्रालय के अनुसार, यह सिस्टम पाकिस्तान की सीमा पर हालात को पूरी तरह बदल सकता है। हाल के वर्षों में पाकिस्तान समर्थित आतंकियों द्वारा घुसपैठ के मामलों में लगातार वृद्धि हुई है, जिसके चलते सेना को हाई-टेक सिस्टम की जरूरत महसूस हो रही थी। LoC पर तैनात किए जाने के बाद यह प्रणाली उन आतंकियों को तुरंत ट्रैक कर सकेगी जो घुसपैठ की कोशिश कर रहे हैं या फिर घने जंगलों में छिपे हुए हैं। इससे सेना को कम समय में ज्यादा प्रभावी निर्णय लेने में मदद मिलेगी और घुसपैठ को रोकने में भी सफलता मिलेगी।

सीमा पर खुद ही निगरानी करेगा यह सिस्टम
TAIWS प्रणाली को तैनात करने से भारतीय सेना को कई फायदे होंगे। सबसे पहला फायदा यह होगा कि सैनिकों को हर समय सीमा पर खड़े रहकर निगरानी करने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी, क्योंकि यह सिस्टम खुद ही निगरानी करेगा और खतरे का पता चलते ही प्रतिक्रिया देगा। दूसरा, यह तकनीक आतंकियों की घुसपैठ को रोकने के लिए ज्यादा प्रभावी होगी क्योंकि यह तेजी से प्रतिक्रिया देगी और लक्ष्य को निष्क्रिय कर सकेगी। तीसरा, यह प्रणाली सेना के लिए युद्ध के मैदान में अधिक आधुनिकता लाएगी और उन्हें अधिक सुरक्षित रखेगी।
जवानों की नहीं जाएगी जान
भारतीय सेना के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों का मानना है कि इस प्रणाली को तैनात करने से सेना की ताकत कई गुना बढ़ जाएगी। ब्रिगेडियर (रिटायर्ड) अरुण मेहता ने कहा कि TAIWS प्रणाली एक क्रांतिकारी हथियार प्रणाली होगी और यह सेना को एक नई क्षमता प्रदान करेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि यह तकनीक न केवल LoC पर घुसपैठ को रोकने में मदद करेगी, बल्कि यह हमारे सैनिकों की सुरक्षा को भी सुनिश्चित करेगा।” क्योंकि इससे पहले, LoC पर सैनिकों को अपनी जान जोखिम में डालकर आतंकियों के खिलाफ ऑपरेशन करने पड़ते थे। लेकिन अब, AI आधारित यह सिस्टम न केवल इन ऑपरेशंस को सुरक्षित बनाएगा, बल्कि भारतीय सेना की आधुनिक युद्ध क्षमता को भी नई ऊंचाइयों तक पहुंचाएगा।
भविष्य में कर सकेंगे अपग्रेड
TAIWS प्रणाली का एक और बड़ा फायदा यह है कि इसे भविष्य में और अधिक एडवांस बनाया जा सकता है। इसमें मशीन लर्निंग और AI के और अधिक एडवांस फीचर्स जोड़े जा सकते हैं, जिससे यह खुद ही तेजी से फैसले ले सके और किसी भी संदिग्ध गतिविधि पर तुरंत प्रतिक्रिया दे सके। इसके अलावा, इसे अन्य सुरक्षा एजेंसियों और बॉर्डर सिक्योरिटी फोर्स (BSF) के साथ भी साझा किया जा सकता है ताकि अन्य संवेदनशील इलाकों में भी इसका इस्तेमाल किया जा सके।
सेना ने इस सिस्टम को डेवलप करने के लिए एडवांस टेक्नोलॉजी का इस्तेमाल किया है और यह पूरी तरह से आत्मनिर्भर भारत अभियान के तहत तैयार की गई है। इसका निर्माण पूरी तरह से देश में हुआ है और यह भारतीय रक्षा प्रणाली के स्वदेशी विकास की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। इससे भारत की रक्षा तकनीकों को और मजबूती मिलेगी और देश की सुरक्षा को और अधिक प्रभावी बनाया जा सकेगा।
