Bumper boom in defense export! 38,000 crore cross, the government spent the entire budget

India Defence Exports 2026: The financial year 2025-26 has proved to be great for Indian Defence Sector. On the other hand, the Ministry of Defence has taken almost the entire use of its capital budget, where the country has reached the defence export record level.

India Defence Exports 2026: Defence Exports Created New Records

Financial Year 2025-26 in India Defence Exports Increased to Rs 38,424 crore. The figure last year was Rs 23,622 crore. i.e. an increase of around 62.66 per cent has been recorded in the same year. An additional export of Rs.14,800 crore has been made to see the amount.

This hike has an important role in both Government and Private Sector. Defence Public Undertakings i.e. DPSU contributed about 54.84 per cent in total exports, while private companies share 45.16 per cent.

Export of government companies is particularly fast. The export of the DPSU increased by 151 per cent over the previous year, while private companies also recorded an increase of about 14 per cent.

The private companies exported about Rs 17,353 crore if it comes to the sum, while the DPSU contributed to Rs 21,071 crore. Last year this figure was quite low, so that it is clean that this time a big leap is taken. (India Defence Exports 2026)

Exports to over 80 countries

भारत अब सिर्फ अपने लिए ही नहीं, बल्कि दुनिया के कई देशों के लिए भी रक्षा उपकरण बना रहा है। सरकारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार, भारत अब 80 से ज्यादा देशों को रक्षा सामान निर्यात कर रहा है।

इनमें अलग-अलग तरह के सिस्टम, सब-सिस्टम, पार्ट्स और उपकरण शामिल हैं। सिर्फ निर्यात ही नहीं, बल्कि निर्यात करने वाली कंपनियों की संख्या भी बढ़ी है। पिछले साल जहां 128 एक्सपोर्टर थे, वहीं अब यह संख्या बढ़कर 145 हो गई है। यानी करीब 13 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोतरी हुई है। (India defence exports 2026)

पांच साल में तीन गुना बढ़ा निर्यात

अगर पिछले पांच साल का आंकड़ा देखें तो भारत का रक्षा निर्यात करीब तीन गुना तक बढ़ चुका है। यह बढ़ोतरी अचानक नहीं हुई, बल्कि लगातार किए गए प्रयासों का नतीजा है। सरकार ने रक्षा निर्यात से जुड़े नियमों को आसान बनाया है, ऑनलाइन प्रक्रिया शुरू की है और कंपनियों को ज्यादा मौके दिए हैं। इसके चलते अब भारतीय रक्षा उद्योग अब ग्लोबल सप्लाई चेन का हिस्सा बनता जा रहा है।

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh ने इस उपलब्धि पर खुशी जताई है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत अब धीरे-धीरे एक ग्लोबल डिफेंस मैन्युफैक्चरिंग हब बनने की दिशा में आगे बढ़ रहा है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि यह सफलता देश की नीतियों और उद्योगों के संयुक्त प्रयास का परिणाम है। (India defence exports 2026)

रक्षा मंत्रालय ने पूरा किया पूंजीगत बजट

डिफेंस एक्सपोर्ट बढ़ने के साथ रक्षा मंत्रालय ने वित्तीय वर्ष 2025-26 में अपने पूंजीगत बजट का पूरा इस्तेमाल कर लिया है। इस साल डिफेंस सर्विसेज के लिए करीब 1.86 लाख करोड़ रुपये का पूंजीगत बजट रखा गया था, जिसे पूरी तरह खर्च कर दिया गया।

यह लगातार दूसरा साल है जब मंत्रालय ने पूरा बजट उपयोग किया है। कुल मिलाकर रक्षा मंत्रालय का कुल बजट उपयोग करीब 99.62 प्रतिशत रहा। (India defence exports 2026)

किन चीजों पर हुआ सबसे ज्यादा खर्च

इस बजट का बड़ा हिस्सा सेना के आधुनिकीकरण पर खर्च किया गया। इसमें खास तौर पर शामिल हैं: हवाई प्लेटफॉर्म जैसे एयरक्राफ्ट और एयरो इंजन पर सबसे ज्यादा खर्च हुआ। इसके बाद जमीन से जुड़े सिस्टम, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वारफेयर उपकरण, हथियार, जहाज निर्माण और एविएशन स्टोर्स पर भी बड़ा निवेश किया गया।

इन खर्चों का मकसद सेना की ऑपरेशनल क्षमता को बेहतर बनाना और आधुनिक तकनीक को शामिल करना रहा। (India defence exports 2026)

ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के बाद बढ़ी जरूरत

बजट में बढ़ोतरी का एक कारण हाल के ऑपरेशन भी रहे हैं। खास तौर पर ऑपरेशन सिंदूर के बाद सेना की जरूरतों को ध्यान में रखते हुए अतिरिक्त फंड दिया गया। पहले पूंजीगत खर्च के लिए 1.80 लाख करोड़ रुपये तय किए गए थे, जिसे बाद में बढ़ाकर 1.86 लाख करोड़ रुपये किया गया।

बड़े स्तर पर हुई रक्षा खरीद

इस साल रक्षा मंत्रालय ने बड़ी संख्या में नई परियोजनाओं को मंजूरी दी। कुल 109 प्रस्तावों को मंजूरी दी गई, जिनकी कुल कीमत करीब 6.81 लाख करोड़ रुपये है। इसके अलावा 503 डिफेंस प्रोक्योरमेंट कॉन्ट्रैक्ट साइन किए गए, जिनकी कुल कीमत 2.28 लाख करोड़ रुपये रही। यह आंकड़ा पिछले साल की तुलना में काफी ज्यादा है। (India defence exports 2026)

सीमा क्षेत्रों में इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर पर भी असर

रक्षा बजट का असर सिर्फ हथियारों तक सीमित नहीं है। इसका एक हिस्सा सीमा क्षेत्रों में इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर सुधार पर भी खर्च किया गया। इससे सड़कों, बेस और अन्य सुविधाओं का विकास हुआ, जिससे सेना की तैनाती और संचालन आसान हो सके।

वहीं, वित्तीय वर्ष 2026-27 के लिए रक्षा मंत्रालय को पूंजीगत मद में करीब 2.19 लाख करोड़ रुपये का बजट दिया गया है। यह पिछले साल के मुकाबले करीब 22 प्रतिशत ज्यादा है। (India defence exports 2026)
