Indian AMCA fighter jet: A Dani Defence & Aerospace and Hyderabad’s Prisison Engineering Company MTAR Technologies have collaborated with India’s Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) project. The two companies together will bid for this contract worth Rs. 15,000 crore, under which India’s first FIFTH Generation Stealthfighter jet is to be developed.
The project is being prepared keeping in mind the future needs of the Indian Air Force. The responsibility of its design and development is to the DRDO and its subsidiary agency Aeronautical Development Agency. Now for the first time, private companies are also preparing to participate in the prototype development of this project.
Adani Group’s company Adani Defence and Aerospace has strengthened its grip in rapid aerospace and defense manufacturing since 2019. On the one hand where the sectors such as Adani Defence Aerostrculture, Composits, and Avionics are experts in high-pricision engineering, on the other hand, MTAR Technologies specializes in high-pricision engineering and has already worked for entities like ISRO, DRDO, and Nuclear Power Corporation.
MTAR’s expertise is in cryogenic and high-temperature alloys, which are extremely essential in building stallth jets. At the same time, the large manufacturing capacity and supply chain network can play an important role in the speed of the project.
