INS Nilgiri Kakadu 2026: The Indian Navy’s Modern Frigate INS Nilegiri has taken part in the sea phase of 2026 ongoing exercise in Australia. The official confirmation of the Indian Navy also made its social media platform X. Nevy’s participation is being considered a major step towards India’s strong strategic grip and cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region.

INS Nilgiri Kakadu 2026: What is Exercise Cacadu 2026

Exercise Cacadu australia The Royal Australian is a large multilateral marine exercise organized by Nevy, which is held every two years. This year its 17th edition is being held, which will last from March 2 to March 31. The main purpose of this exercise is to increase rapport between the navy of different countries, develop the ability to work together and strengthen the maritime security.

This exercise does not only have war-connected exercises, but also covers aspects associated with marine safety, monitoring, disaster relief and other operations. The practice of this bar is taking part of the navy of around 19 countries, including over 20 warships, aircraft and over 6000 military personnel.

INS Eucalyptus Skills in the Sea

INS Neilgiri इस समय वेस्टर्न पैसिफिक क्षेत्र में ओवरसीज डिप्लॉयमेंट पर है और इसी दौरान उसने एक्सरसाइज काकाडू के सी फेज में भाग लिया। इस चरण में जहाजों के बीच तालमेल से नेविगेशन, जटिल समुद्री अभ्यास और विभिन्न युद्धक रणनीतियों का अभ्यास किया जाता है।

इस दौरान आईएनएस नीलगिरी ने कई देशों के युद्धपोतों के साथ मिलकर अभ्यास किया। इनमें ऑस्ट्रेलिया का एचएमएएस चूल्स, मलेशिया का केडी लेकिर, फिलीपींस का बीआरपी डिएगो सिलांग और थाईलैंड का एचटीएमएस नरेसुआन शामिल रहे। इन सभी के साथ मिलकर भारतीय नौसेना ने समुद्र में जॉइंट ऑपरेशन की अपनी क्षमता का प्रदर्शन किया।

21 मार्च को सिडनी हार्बर में आयोजित फ्लीट रिव्यू इस अभ्यास का एक अहम हिस्सा रहा, जिसमें 19 देशों के 31 युद्धपोत शामिल हुए। यह पिछले एक दशक में सबसे बड़ा अंतरराष्ट्रीय नौसैनिक जमावड़ा माना जा रहा है। आईएनएस नीलगिरी भी इस भव्य आयोजन का हिस्सा बनी, जिससे भारत की मौजूदगी को वैश्विक स्तर पर मजबूती मिली। (INS Nilgiri Kakadu 2026)

इंडो-पैसिफिक में बढ़ती भारत की भूमिका

आईएनएस नीलगिरी की यह भागीदारी सिर्फ एक अभ्यास तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि यह इंडो-पैसिफिक क्षेत्र में भारत की रणनीतिक सोच को भी दर्शाती है। आज के समय में यह क्षेत्र वैश्विक व्यापार और सुरक्षा के लिहाज से बेहद महत्वपूर्ण बन चुका है।

इस अभ्यास में वियतनाम, मलेशिया, फिलीपींस और थाईलैंड जैसे आसियान देशों की भागीदारी भी इस बात का संकेत है कि क्षेत्रीय सहयोग को कितना महत्व दिया जा रहा है। इसके अलावा क्वाड देशों के बीच भी इस तरह के अभ्यास रणनीतिक सहयोग को और मजबूत करते हैं।

आईएनएस नीलगिरी की वेस्टर्न पैसिफिक में मौजूदगी यह भी दिखाती है कि भारतीय नौसेना अब लंबी दूरी तक ऑपरेशन करने में सक्षम है। इसे ही ब्लू वॉटर नेवी कहा जाता है, जहां एक देश की नौसेना अपने समुद्री क्षेत्र से दूर जाकर भी प्रभावी ऑपरेशन कर सकती है। (INS Nilgiri Kakadu 2026)

आईएनएस तारागिरी से और बढ़ेगी ताकत

जहां एक ओर आईएनएस नीलगिरी विदेश में भारत की ताकत दिखा रही है, वहीं नीलगिरी क्लास के चौथे फ्रिगेट आईएनएस Tarraguri को भारतीय नौसेना 4 अप्रैल को अपने बेड़े में शामिल करने जा रही है।

यह जहाज प्रोजेक्ट 17ए के तहत बनाया गया चौथा स्टेल्थ फ्रिगेट है, जिसे मुंबई की मझगांव डॉक शिपबिल्डर्स लिमिटेड ने तैयार किया है। करीब 6670 टन वजनी यह युद्धपोत आधुनिक तकनीक से लैस है और इसमें 75 प्रतिशत से अधिक स्वदेशी उपकरण लगे हैं।

आईएनएस तारागिरी में सतह से सतह और सतह से हवा में मार करने वाली मिसाइलें, एंटी-सबमरीन वॉरफेयर सिस्टम और आधुनिक कॉम्बैट मैनेजमेंट सिस्टम लगे हैं। यह जहाज युद्ध के अलावा मानवीय सहायता और आपदा राहत जैसे कार्यों में भी इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है। (INS Nilgiri Kakadu 2026)
