हालिया हिंसा के बीच भारत ने नई दिल्ली में बांग्लादेश के उच्चायुक्त को तलब कर औपचारिक विरोध दर्ज कराया। भारत ने साफ कहा कि ढाका स्थित भारतीय उच्चायोग और अन्य सहायक मिशनों की सुरक्षा बांग्लादेश सरकार की जिम्मेदारी है।

सेना प्रमुखों की बातचीत क्यों है अहम

ऐसे तनावपूर्ण माहौल में दोनों देशों के सेना प्रमुखों के बीच सीधी बातचीत को बेहद अहम माना जा रहा है। सुरक्षा सूत्रों के मुताबिक, बांग्लादेश के सेना प्रमुख ने भारत को भरोसा दिलाया है कि हिंसा के बावजूद भारतीय मिशनों, कर्मचारियों और परिसंपत्तियों की सुरक्षा में कोई कमी नहीं आने दी जाएगी।

बांग्लादेशी सेना ने यह भरोसा उस समय जताया है, जब कुछ इलाकों में भारतीय उच्चायोग और सहायक उच्चायोगों के आसपास प्रदर्शन हुए थे। एहतियातन भारत ने कुछ समय के लिए बांग्लादेश में वीजा आवेदन केंद्र भी बंद कर दिए थे। (Bangladesh unrest)

फरवरी में चुनाव को लेकर बढ़ती चिंता

बांग्लादेश में अगले साल 12 फरवरी को आम चुनाव प्रस्तावित हैं। लेकिन मौजूदा हालात ने इन चुनावों को लेकर अनिश्चितता बढ़ गई है। शरिफ उस्मान हादी की हत्या के बाद भड़की हिंसा से कानून-व्यवस्था कमजोर हुई है।

अंतरिम सरकार पर बढ़ता दबाव

बांग्लादेश की अंतरिम सरकार, जिसकी अगुवाई नोबेल पुरस्कार विजेता मुहम्मद यूनुस कर रहे हैं, फिलहाल भारी दबाव में है। एक तरफ उसे चुनाव की तैयारी करनी है, तो दूसरी ओर सड़कों पर उतर आए कट्टरपंथी संगठनों से निपटना भी है। सूत्रों का कहना है कि सरकार या तो हालात पर पूरी तरह काबू नहीं कर पा रही है या फिर जानबूझकर नरमी बरत रही है। वहीं सरकार का दावा है कि वह स्थिति को संभालने के लिए जरूरी कदम उठा रही है और हादी की हत्या की निष्पक्ष जांच कराई जाएगी। (Bangladesh unrest)

भारत चाहता है शांति और स्थिरता

भारत ने अब तक आधिकारिक तौर पर यही रुख अपनाया है कि वह बांग्लादेश में शांति, स्थिरता और लोकतांत्रिक प्रक्रिया का समर्थन करता है। भारत का कहना है कि बांग्लादेश के आंतरिक मामलों में दखल देना उसका उद्देश्य नहीं है, लेकिन वहां रहने वाले भारतीयों और भारतीय संस्थानों की सुरक्षा उसकी प्राथमिकता है।

सेना प्रमुखों के बीच हुई बातचीत को इसी कड़ी में देखा जा रहा है। यह संदेश भी दिया गया है कि दोनों देशों के की मिलिट्री डिप्लोमेसी हालात बिगड़ने नहीं देगी और किसी भी आपात स्थिति में यह संबंध बने रहेंगे। (Bangladesh unrest)
