Tejas Mk-1A delivery: An important statement on behalf of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has emerged between the Indigenous Fighter Jet Tejas MK-1A delay. Dr. D.K. Sunil, chairman and managing director of HAL, said that the five aircraft of Tejas MK-1A are fully prepared and the firing and missile trials required have been completed. However, they have no fixed date of delivery.

HAL Now, the Indian Air Force will contact so that these five aircraft can be included in the Air Force within the existing financial year. If this happens, it will be considered a big turn for the Tejas MK-1A program.

According to the HAL Chief, the trial, missile firing of air-to-air weapons, and necessary flight tests have been successfully completed on the five Tejas MK-1A aircraft. These aircraft are designed to be operational needs and are now ready to be included in the Air Force.

Tejas MK-1A is far more advanced than the old version of Tejas. It includes several important upgrades such as AESA radar, better electronic warfare system, modern avionics and more weapon carrying capacity.
