The story of joining the birth and the army

Jasavant Singh Rawat was born on 19 August 1941 in the village of Birun District of Paul Garhwal, Uttarakhand. The name of his father was Gumman Singh Rawat. Jaswant Singh started his service in 4 Garhwal Rifles by recruiting Indian Army on 19 August 1960 at the age of 19. This regiment is one of the most brave and respected regiments of the Indian Army.

Battle of Nuranang

On 17th November 1962, the Chinese army attacked the post of the Indian Army in the Nauranang area of Twang Sector of Arunachal Pradesh (Tab North-East Frontier Agency). They had only one machine gun, but they did not push the enemy for 72 hours from their sangle and strategy. The Chinese army felt that the number of Indian soldiers is higher, while Jaswant Singh was fighting alone.

In this battle, two girls from the local Monpa community, Sela and Noura, helped Jaswant Singh. They brought food and pills for them. Sela became martyr in the grenade eruption and Noura was caught by Chinese troops.

When the Chinese soldiers showed that only Jaswant Singh is fighting in the bunker, he attacked massively. But Jaswant Singh continued the battle for the last time. Finally, they killed themselves with their last pill so as not to fall into the hands of the enemy.

Indian Army Coaching Empowers Girls in Volleyball, to Represent the State in National Tournament.

Girls from the Southern Pir Pandal region of Jammu and Kashmir have recently gained a huge success. These girls have gained tremendous work in the Volleyball game thanks to Indian Army training. The Volleyball team of girls has made their place to state level while performing tremendous. Behind this success, the Indian Army has guidance and dedication, which gave them the right direction by identifying the potential of these girls.

The Indian Army had launched a special Volleyball coaching program for girls in the region. Under this program, 30 girls were selected and taught the basic skills of volleyball, fitness and sports strategies. The J&K state sports officers and experienced coaches were helped to train these girls. The purpose of this program was to make girls self-sufficient, enhance their confidence and lead them.

The story of the beginning and success of training

The training programme was started on 29th August 2024. During this time, 30 girls had a chance to understand and learn the nuances of the Volleyball game. At the first stage, 19 girls were selected for the Volleyball competition at the district level. Next, 15 girls participated in the competition of the Jammu Division and eight girls were selected for the state level team.

Seven of these eight girls received the distinction of representing Jammu and Kashmir in the national level Volleyball tournament. Three of these girls will become part of the national team in the U-19 category, a U-17 category and three girls U-14 category. This success is the proof of these girls' sports skills, dedication and hard work.

High Altitude Adventure: IAF Cyclists Reach Adi Kailash, Om Parvat, and Lipulekh Pass, Strengthening the Vibrant Village Project

High Altitude Adventure: Indian Air Force (IAF) has recently completed a historic adventure journey. लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल द्वारकेश, भारतीय सेना के एकमात्र नेत्रहीन एक्टिव-ड्यूटी अफसर, ने हाल ही में 23वीं नेशनल पैरा स्विमिंग चैंपियनशिप में गोल्ड और सिल्वर मेडल जीता था। उनका कहना है, “हौसला हर चुनौती पर जीत पा सकता है।”

यह प्रतियोगिता 29 से 31 मार्च 2024 के बीच मध्य प्रदेश के ग्वालियर में आयोजित की गई थी। लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल द्वारकेश ने 50 मीटर स्विमिंग (51 सेकंड) में गोल्ड और 100 मीटर ब्रेस्टस्ट्रोक (1 मिनट 50 सेकंड) में सिल्वर मेडल हासिल किया था। वह बताते हैं, “आंखें खोने के बाद खेलों ने मुझे नई रोशनी दी है। कई महीनों की मेहनत के बाद यह सफलता मिली है।”

द्वारकेश की आंखों की रोशनी 2016 में एक सड़क दुर्घटना के बाद चली गई थी। उस हादसे ने उनकी जिंदगी बदल दी, लेकिन उन्होंने हार नहीं मानी। लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल द्वारकेश ने 2021 में सियाचीन ग्लेशियर की चढ़ाई भी पूरी की और उसके बाद खेलों में अपना करियर बनाने का फैसला किया। नवंबर 2023 में, द्वारकेश ने शूटिंग में भी नेशनल मेडल जीते और अब वह लगातार शूटिंग की प्रैक्टिस करते हैं।

BSF to Introduce Advanced Tear Smoke Shell 2.0 for Safer and More Effective Crowd Control

Tear Smoke Shell 2.0: Border Security Force (BSF) is going to adopt more effective and safe tyrics to overcome the crowd. BSF will now use the new generation "Tear Smoke Shell 2.0" replacing the existing Tear Smoke Shell (TSS), which will be less harmful and more effective during crowd control.

In this new version, the ammunition of low toxic tear gas will be used as compared to the first, which will cause people to suffer at least. This new ammunition created on the side of the Tear and Smoke Unit (TSU) of BSF is aimed at reducing the impact on their health while controlling the crowd.

Safe against chronic techniques

There are many health risks when using traditional tear gas ammunition, such as breathing and severe injuries in the eyes. This new version has attempted to reduce these risks, while there will be no reduction in its impact on the crowd.

The issue was discussed at the 44th Annual Meeting held at BSF Headquarters in New Delhi. The meeting chaired by DG Daljeet Singh Choudhury of Border Security Force.

India’s Indigenous Pinaca Multi-Barrel Rocket Launcher System has now become more powerful. While the first Armenia bought it, the system is still doing the study France. The particular thing is that this Pinaca system is now available in a new guided version, which is able to attack more effectively and accurately than ever.

The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) pointed on Thursday that it has successfully completed the flight test of the guided Pinaca weapon system. These tests were part of the provisional staff Qualitative Recruitments (PSQR) Validation Trials.

The particular thing about the Guided Pinaca rocket system is that now it has ‘seaker’ (seeker), which can attack the exact target. In the first version this system was without guidings, destroying the small target by throwing several rockets even in the larger area. Now in the guided system this is not a problem and it is able to distinguish goals more accurately.

Sources connected to the defence sector reported that the range of this guided system exceeds the first version. At the same time, another advance version of Pinaca is running, which will range from 120 km, 150 km and 200 km, to combat China’s long-distance guided rocket system. At present the range of Pinaca is about 37 km, while the range of rockets of the Advance Range is about 45 km.

Pinaca rocket system has been preferred by the Indian Army and is being considered good for export. Armenia has already bought these rockets and sent Pinaca’s first regiment Armenia this month.

Interestingly, France is also studying the Pinaca system, and according to the formulas, they are showing interest in the guided version.

About the test
DRDO pointed out that the flight test of this system was carried out on various field firing ranges in three phases. During these tests, parameters of PSQR—Fire rate for multiple targets such as range, accuracy, continuity and in Sulvo mode—Assessed.

12-12 rockets were tested by each production agency from Pinaca launchers present in two services in these tests.

The system has become an important and deadly weapon for the Indian Army, developed by several major centres of the Indian Defence Research and Development Organization. It also contributes to companies like Munition India Limited, Tata Advanced Systems Limited and Larsen and Toubro in its manufacture.

This advanced Pinaca system has become a symbol of strength for the Indian Army and is expected that it will be established as an important defense system even globally.
